Shipadmin delivered POB system on board Australia’s new Antarctic icebreaker, RSV Nuyina

Volda, Norway (March 18, 2020) – Shipadmin, a Norwegian ICT company specializing in administrative solutions for vessels and rigs proudly announce delivery of POB system to RSV Nuyina.

RSV Nuyina is a state of the art research vessel owned by Australian Authorities and operated by Serco Asia Pacific, the vessel will be delivered to the owner in 2020.

Shipadmin delivered and installed POB and electronic door lock system through our client, Radio Holland. System installation completed and successfully tested on Thursday 12th of March.

POB and Lock system is integrated through Shipadmin’s software suite Vessel Manager (VM). Electronic registrations in and out of zones are by RFID technology, access to restricted areas controlled by magnetic locks. The system is designed to operate in a temperature range between -30 to 50 degree celsius.
